Janerate provides a comprehensive payment infrastructure that enables creators to monetize their forms and affiliates to earn commissions through promotion. Our system handles everything from payment processing to automated payouts with security and transparency.
Creator Onboarding
1. Sign Up & Verify
Create your free account at Janerate. Verify your email address to activate your account. Free accounts start with a 5% platform fee, which drops to 3% on paid plans.

Navigate to Dashboard → Settings → Payouts to connect your preferred payment gateway:
Stripe (USD/Global)
Connect your Stripe Express account for international payments. KYC takes approximately 5 minutes.
Paystack (NGN/Local)
Enter your Nigerian bank details for local payments. Creates subaccount automatically.
3. Create Your First Form
Create a new form in your dashboard. Set the amount, currency, and enable affiliate commissions if desired.

Payment Flow
Step 1: Buyer Purchase
When a buyer clicks your affiliate link and completes a purchase, the system automatically:
- Captures referral data
- Calculates commission based on form rate
- Processes payment through selected gateway

Payouts & Holds
24-Hour Hold Period
Commissions are held for 24 hours to protect against refunds and disputes. This covers 90% of all payment disputes.
Batched Transfers
Commissions are batched to minimize fees and processed hourly. Minimum threshold: $10 (or ₦5,000 equivalent).

Refund Handling
Automatic Reversals
If a buyer requests a refund, commissions are automatically reversed proportionally. This ensures fair handling for all parties.
Pre-Payout Refunds
If refund occurs during hold period, commission is reduced automatically.
Post-Payout Refunds
If refund occurs after payout, amount is deducted from future commissions.

When will I receive my commission?
Commissions are held for 24 hours, then transferred during the next hourly batch (minimum $10 threshold).
What's the minimum payout amount?
$10 USD or ₦5,000 NGN equivalent. Smaller amounts accumulate until threshold is reached.
Can I change my payout method?
Yes, you can update your payout account in Settings → Affiliates at any time.
How are taxes handled?
